Mimi Roberts is an artist who specialises in still life painting. Inspired by artists from Italy, Spain and the Netherlands from the 16th and 17th centuries, the subject of her work is taken from life. Food is the major theme, fish, fruit and vegetables froming the main part of her portfolio.
The paintings are in oil on board which are varnished. They are traditionally framed in painted black wood with wide gold slips, but alternative frames can be supplied.
Mimi will take commissions if a special subject is required, please contact to discuss.
There is generally an anual exhibition in London and there are regional shows from time to time, otherwise there will be a selection of paintings on GEOFFREY STEAD'S stand at various art and antique shows during the year in London, if you would like an invitation to any, please contact us.
Due to COVID 19 , this year's shows, Summer Olympia and LAPADA have been cancelled but we are very much hoping that the Autumn Battersea Fair in Battersea Park will go ahead . The dates this year are Tuesday 28th September to Sunday 3rd October. At the moment it looks like it will go ahead so please get in touch if you would like a ticket.
